In a letter to Tesla administration, the staff introduced their plan to unionize with the Employees United Upstate New York.
If shaped, the union can be the primary for Tesla, which not like another US-based automakers has managed to keep away from unionization at its US amenities.
“We consider unionizing will give us a voice in our office that we really feel has been ignored up to now,” the employees stated in a press launch on Tuesday. “We’re solely asking for a seat within the automotive that we helped construct.”
The letter to Tesla was first reported by Bloomberg Information.
The leaders of the union effort have jobs that contain labeling information for Tesla’s Autopilot know-how on the firm’s plant in Buffalo, New York, based on the report. The union’s emblem urges workers to “Take the wheel” and be a part of the union.
