GILBERT, S.C. — A college bus collided with a tanker truck Thursday in South Carolina, sending no less than 18 folks, largely youngsters, to the hospital, authorities stated.
The bus was carrying 36 passengers when it collided with the tanker at about 4 p.m. at an intersection close to Gilbert in Lexington County, based on the South Carolina Freeway Patrol.
No less than 17 youngsters and one grownup had been taken to Lexington Medical Heart for therapy, the hospital advised WIS-TV.
There was no rapid data on their circumstances or the reason for the crash.
The bus passengers had been from Gilbert Center College and Gilbert Excessive faculties.
