LONDON — Armed police on Thursday arrested a person after a car was pushed into the gates of Downing Avenue the place Britain’s Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and several other different senior politicians reside.
“A person on the scene on suspicion of felony injury and harmful driving,” London’s Metropolitan Police stated in a tweet. “There are not any studies of any accidents.”
Photos on social media confirmed a car crashed into the gates, surrounded by emergency automobiles.
Giant sections of the encompassing space have been closed to the general public as a major police presence entered the world.
It was unclear whether or not Sunak was house on the time.
