(Reuters) -McDonald’s eating places in Belarus are set to be rebranded underneath a deal made public on Friday, 5 months after the U.S. quick meals chain left neighbouring Russia over its invasion of Ukraine.
Underneath the deal, the 25 McDonald’s eating places in Belarus, all of that are operated by an area licensee, can be rebranded as Vkusno & tochka, which interprets as “Tasty and that is it”.
McDonald’s offered its Russian eating places in Could to an area operator there, which later rebranded to “Vkusno & tochka,” making a choice to sever ties with Russia over its actions in Ukraine.
