BERLIN (Reuters) – Morgan Stanley (NYSE:)’s infrastructure funding arm knowledgeable the board of German renewables agency PNE AG that it’s not pursuing talks with potential consumers of Photon’s PNE stake, PNE stated in an adhoc assertion on Friday.
Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Companions (MSIP) which acquired the PNE stake following a failed takeover try in 2020, was weighing a sale final October, Reuters reported on the time.
Photon, which is managed by Morgan Stanley, is PNE’s largest shareholder. Morgan Stanley earlier this week disclosed that the stake was 44%, barely bigger than beforehand thought.
“Morgan Stanley Infrastructure and Photon Administration GmbH have knowledgeable the Board of Administration of PNE AG immediately that they’re at the moment not pursuing talks with probably events concerning an acquisition of the whole shareholding in PNE AG held by Photon Administration GmbH,” PNE’s assertion on Friday stated.
